Hello to all,I'm new in the forum, my name is Stefano.I'm counting on you for advice.I have to buy 2 rods, I fish only and exclusively in quarries where there are fish of excellent size and in some situations there is the presence of water lilies.The methods I use are the classic rigs, the method and the zig.As weights for classic rigs I use a 3 oz plus not very large pva bag, a 1.75 oz for the method and a 4 oz for the zig.Sorry for the very long description but I wanted to give you as much information as possible.For the rods I was looking for them as less rigid as possible, I love to see them bend up to the handle, but they still have a good reserve of power in case I had to force the capture.Which models and which libraries do you recommend?Thank you very much for reading and for the advice you will give me.Best regards Stefano

Hi Stefano and welcome, what is your budget? You don't need to spend a fortune nowadays for a good rod, I have the Avid Traction Pro in 10' and 12' only 3lb tc but great rods and only around £85 to £90 each they go up to 3 1/2lb. 1k weave they have backbone but also forgiving. Have a look on Youtube, make sure they are the newer 1k weave version.

As a budget I would be between 85 and 130 pounds a barrel more or less.
I'm going to see the one you recommended to me right away.
