Are there any slow taper (trough action) rods in the Daiwa rod range?

Weren't the Infinity slimlines a more compound taper?

Infinity slim power, will be more through action than the standard infinity mate, there is also the longbow, powermesh(there is a carp version as well) whisker, crosscast and black widow, ranges to have a look at, depending on your budget. Most of these as far as I am aware will have a more progressive/through action.
I have only ever used the standard infinity in 3.25lb tc, which I found to be a very nice rod indeed, for me anyway.
Unfortunately I cant comment, personally, on any of the models I have suggested, maybe a standard infinity in 2.75lb might even be worth considering, although a fast action rod, it will probably be more forgiving than you might think, and would be a bit more versatile.
Have a look at some of the models I have mentioned,you should find some YouTube vids on them, it would also be worth ringing some of the better tackle shops for advice.
