Does anyone know what the sleeve inside along the central spine is for? It's very tight to zip up if I put one extension pole in there.

I wondered the same I tried the handle in there but still akward to close.

I'm sure mine is stitched closed at the bottom so if you put a pole or the handle in half of it is poking out the top. Maybe someone at Nash designed it for a laugh knowing we'd all be scratching our heads wondering what it was for.

Does the bag not come with an aluminium pole to put in there,I had a rod bag like it so it stays rigid when empty
