Anybody got any info or tips for the exeter canal or weirfield fishery.just joined the exeter association and looking for a few pointers or advice where its safe to fish alone etc.

Go into Exeter Angling, they will give you loads of good information. They wont tell you the best spots for the lumps though as those are closely guarded secrets although freely accessible to all, there are some very good fish in the canal if you can find them.
Make sure you talk to the Carp anglers that work in the shop and not the matchmen.

Thanks im not after any secret spots just general info on the head of carp any wether
ts safe to fish alone at night or use your best tackle in case it gets nicked.!etc
