Can anyone recommend a food mixer for mixing my mix to roll my own bait. I'm not making a massive amount, I usually do a 2 kilo (dry) mix at a time twice a month. I just hate doing it by hand as I'm just lazy I guess lol any suggestions on a cheap one or am I better spending more for a better quality. Thanks in advance.

The only cheap option for 2kg is a plaster mixer and a bucket. A kenwood chef is only good for 1 maybe 1.5kg at a push.
I've done loads with a plaster mixer and a cheap sds plus drill. It's manual process but works.
After that you go to commercial mixers and you will be lucky to find one for less than £300

Thanks both. I did think about a plaster mixer but thought it might be a bit overkill for such a small amount. I thought that is was more suited for larger amounts. Maybe make some freezer space and do more, that's an idea. Thanks guys.

Rather than a bucket you might be better off using a small rubble tub. With only 2kg of powders in it there will be more room to throughly mix it. You might find with a big paddle in a small bucket then you'll get powders un-mixed in the edges.
When we mix cement based adhesives on site they are always done in the big tall white plastering tubs or a rubble tub.

That's sort of what I meant, I call them rhino buckets
If you screw it to a plank of wood you can stand on the plank to hold it still
