Has anyone got any experience with the newish fox QR sticks and buzz bars? I like the idea of being able to swap and change easily but, with tackle shops not open, can't get my hands on a set so just wondering what quality and stability is like.

I've just looked at something similar from ND. It's an adapter that goes on top of your bank sticks, look fairly decent, does anyone else have these?

This is a similar to what I was doing years ago. I bought a set of 6 x 24" sticks and 6 smaller 12" sticks of the same make and style. I mounted the alarms or bars on the shorter stick and if I wanted my alarms/bars higher than what I could get with the 24" sticks because the ground was very soft and needed to push them in deep or out in the water, I just removed the inner from the shorter stick and inserted it into the longer stick and it gave me another foot.

There are loads of qr adaptors available, what I like about the fox system is that it replaces the threads between sticks and bars, eliminating one main twist point.

I'll get a few bits in the near future I think

not sure what the fox ones are like but mpe tackle did this and it works really well it means you can take alarms and buzz bars of without unscrewing and swop everything around so it you want to use single stick or buzzbars it takes seconds to swop over alarms. plus once lined up they stay in place no messing about with threads

The mpe system looks excellent, but by the time I wanted to buy it they'd folded.

I had started making my own in a similar design to mpe but it was coming up a bit heavy in brass/alu and I haven't really had the time to get it right. I'll take a punt on the fox stuff for now and if it all implodes like most fox stuff seems to do I should have got my stuff sorted
