I'm after a bivey, never had one before, but looking to do a few over nights, hopefully in the summer.
Any thoughts on a decent budget bivey?
Test from 2019 seen the JRC Stealth Bloxx as the best and it's around £100 and looks ok
Don't want to spend hundreds, any thoughts on a cheaper decent bivey if there is such a thing?

For £100 mate I would be getting on Facebook Marketplace and buying second hand. Loads of good options, I picked up a Nash Double top for £100. Rock solid and watertight, which is more than you would realistically get at that price point new

I'd be looking at a brolly system rather than a bivvy. I've got a JRC Contact 1 man bivvy that I've had for 12 years and its still going strong. But I'm looking forward to using my ESP Lo Pro brolly for all but freezing conditions.

I still use my old chub pram style bivvy every so often and that does me fine. Only difference is it takes a bit longer to put up that newer brollies. Cost me £80 odd on gumtree years back.

Cyprinus pleasuredome is £100 new posted... id say you would need to spend at least double that to get anything significantly better.

Ive read in a few places that this is rubbish. Can you prove it?
Ive also read a lot of reports of poor quality products from cyprinus over the last 2 years. Very few from before then? Ive never bought any of their stuff

I have a Cyprinus fast and light mk2.its identical to the aqua fast and light mk2. Only difference is the Cyprinus comes with a piss poor groundsheet

This is generally said by trakker fanboys who can't get over the fact they paid double for a badge.
Like others have said sometimes the items come with a trakker badge covered up.All made in the same factory just slight differences

I have seen quite a few posts from people who have ordered Cyprinus gear and seen a Trakker logo somewhere. I don't quite believe it's the same material though and same quality tbh, not knocking Cyprinus gear at all but it just wouldn't make sense

From what I've seen the only thing they truly have in common is maybe being made in the same factory, not sure about the Aqua copy stuff they did though.......
