So my order of the Harrison's has had to be cancelled due to a work contract issue.
I'm looking for 3 new rods around the £150 mark each.
Looking for 12ft,3lb TC.
Like the look of the Grey's prodigy but looking for recommendation's please.
Any feedback would be appreciated

If that was my price range and I lived in the UK I would go for Tackle box Cf-x

Got 3 custom 2.75 tackle box cfx, brilliant rods off the back of the 2.75's I've ordered the cfx continentals.
Lot of rod for the money.

Iv been offered a set of mint free spirit es for £400. Any feedback on these? They are about a year old apparently

Free spirit ES's are lovely rods. If I was only ever fishing up to 80 or 90 yards I would buy another set in a heart beat. Lovely tight and light blanks that are great to play fish on. Unfortunately they just don't have the backbone for bags or longer range when needed.

Hi Steve, thanks for the feedback. I don't normally fish past 70 yards but douse bags now and then. Would the cfx/ctx handle that ok?

Just thought I'd update.
Managed to pick up 3 free spirit e gold's 12ft 3 1/4tc that had been used once for £300. They are mint and feel amazing.
Also grabbed 3 Shimano 5500 xtb's for £200 from the same guy. Again they are used once with spare spools.
Can't wait to use them now
