I'm looking for a boat that's small and not to heavy to transport for boat work on the lake but I'd also like to be able to take me and the other half down the river so needs to be big enough for two people, what size would people surgest?
Possibly looking at something around 230 size

its not just size it how much weight you want to carry
me and partner are on heavy side and gear so went for above boat 290 kg
and removeable transom
same boat with fixed transom to carry same weight is £100 more and heavier
to lug around about 10 kg more

I picked up a good 2nd hand bic 245 for £200 it's brilliant wheels in the back fits inside my van or easy lift on a small trailer i have .. 4hp engine paid about the same for .. great fun for fishing and messing about on the water...
