Hi guys got two new castizms br reels. Put line on them today and the line is building up to the bottom of spool and low at the front? The standard washer is thicker than the spare washers so tried changing for a thinner washer but when I put the spool back on,and turned the handle it sounded like the spool was rubbing? I took off to check all was ok and still sounding like rubbing so put the standard one back on and all ok but still got the line lay problem. Any info would be a help please. Thanks

I think the instructions explain how to change the line lay
The rear loading is supposed to encourage longer casts
I went for the normal line lay
Maybe try tightening the drag down hard and then release it
I have the normal qda ‘s , I wouldn't imagine changing a washer would create the
problem your having

Yes bud I understand what your saying but the build up of line to rear of spool is a lot,like up to the edge and 2 mm short at the front.

You need to change the washers will change the line lay I had to do mine had same as you on qda a bit trail and error Tho I think I only left one on line good now
