Looking at surface/ floater rods at the mo. Has anyone got any feed back on the Fox x3 rods or got any other recommendations.

I've got a daiwa powermesh floater rod and I absolutely love it, excellent while playing fish, looks smart, is really light and the price was excellent. Think I got it for £70

Fox have had issues with these x range of rods due to packing used under the reelseats,water has been going under and the seats move.I would avoid,plus a new model will be out next year and then you can't get spares for them.
