Has anyone used these? I'd be interested to know if ridgemonkey did solve the issues that seemed to dog the original quad stove. Especially the drop in pressure on the second stove , and spontaneously combusting first stove. I'm really interested in any users comments , positive or negative

I have had both and think the new one is better. The pre heat pipe seems to help in colder weather and so far haven't noticed any mega pressure drop on the second stove. BUT so far I have only used a full gas can with it and will be interested to see what it's like with a half empty can.
The ignitor being on the pipe and not under the stove is alot easier aswell.
I think the new features they have put so far seem good ones

Thanks mate , I currently use 2 bulin t4's with a covia 2 way adaptor running off one canister . Im possibly thinking of using 2 single quads maybe 1 pro and 1 mini pro . But would be dependent on the sort of feedback I got on the quad set

whats wrong with the T4's? Probably a better stove then the ridgemonkey if everything you read is to be believed

Wanted something a bit more compact and stable for sitting my pan on. I've no read anything regarding the new pro stoves , hence starting the thread.
