After some advise on what people use and their experiences using them are they accurate etc?

Used Raymarine Wi-Fish and Dragonfly....accurate definitely

Chirp and more basic finders are generally good enough for depth variation etc but not so good at bottom make up IMO

Get what you pay for essentially

Thanks..... what I'm looking for is something that I can attach to Braid and cast out which will tell me depth, what the bottom is and how deep that bottom makeup is ie if it's silt what is the depth of that silt?

Any model Deeper will do that. The pro+ will even make you a bathymetric map.
