Longshot does anyone know for sure I have a 6ft xtractor sleeve does anyone know does the xtractor recon fit as the pack down is 29 inches for 6 ft and 30/inch for recon did they make a special sleeve for recon or do you use the 6ft one as there's only an inch difference feedback please

No the 8ft xtractor recon rods won't fit in the 6ft xtractor rod sleeve the reel seat is further up the rod handle on the 8ft xtractor recon rods they do a rod sleeve for the 8ft xtractor recon rods I have both version of the rods

I haven't used it so can't comment on the what it fills like with a carp on the end
