Just wondering if anyone has or has done a double layer of Japanese shrink on their handles? I was wanting to add a little more thickness to my handle without going down the duplon or Eva route. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Never done it but its a good idea.
I did use some of the thin cheapo shrink on a tatty rod but and i could see some minor marks showing through (my lack of prep) so a 2nd layer would have cured this.

A second layer may have also highlighted the flaws even more though. Like you say it's all in the prep

What about glue lined heat shrink?
