So the better half is fishing and the sonik axs just won't cut i cant see any in the flesh and blind buying is a nightmare at the best of times..
Both are a significant investment and near enough equate to the same price when yiu factor in the inner capsule for the tempest.
It needs to fit 2 bedchairs with a bit of space for comfort, both set to fit the bill on specs alone but im worried the tempest 200 will be to big and limit swim choice drastically.
Any recommendations?

Trakker 2 man Armo with wrap or slx 2 man with wrap. NB both of these aren't 2 man unless used with overwrap. Fox xl 2 person is worth a look. It is big and has plenty of space- you can sit comfortably in the middle with 2 guest chairs in between the bedchairs when it's raining. It's solid when up.
Cons are it takes a while to set up and pack down and it's not light to lug around. My missus loves it.
I compared the footprint of the fox groundsheet against that of my Cyprinus 2 man bivvy before I ventured out last year and was really surprised to find that in terms of width, it was pretty much the same. In terms of depth the difference was less than a foot.
You can get the bivvy and inner dome at England Angling for just over 500, although it looks like if you buy them separately at mo, it comes to less than 500?

Tempest brolly with a utility front?
My youngest comes most weekends with me 2 full size bed chairs and room to spare... Plus it's versatile if just going on your own etc...

The plus version of the Armo v4/slx v3 is a big 2 man, + you can get a cheap owerwrap for it.

The Titan T3 is reduced to a decent price maybe worth looking at if you want additional space.
