I'm considering getting one of the fish spy echo pro for my Syndicate and using a baiting pole to get it out to the margins and edge of the tree line it's a clear lake and goes to around 9ft deep at most more likely to be between 3 and 6 feet tho. More thinking of using it to find clear spots in the weed and carp holes as they age referred to without having to wade and prod about as for personal reasons I don't feel safe or confident doing this even tho I've seen other members do it.
I'm struggling to find actual user feedback only seem to come across videos posted with Dave Lane or by fish spy them self. I like the idea of the sonar for depth to find the peaks and troughs but the camera to see what's really down there and it seems a good price at the mkment

Absolutely hated it and returned it after 2 outings. Poor connectivity even close in , the camera was very murky even in shallow clear water, the graphics on the app are akin to MK1 Tetris, this really hasn't been thought out well at all. Even their fish spy camera wasn't great and they have continued the trend with the Echo Pro. That's just my experience with it others may have got on better with it.

Lot of bad reviews about the echo pro. Funny when the only bloke you find peddling it is the one that was paid to do so. I was sold on Dave Lane's review of the Fishspy and look how that piece of junk turned out. Echo Pro, fantastic idea but reality vastly different - reading others reviews.
However burned in the past by Fishspy I have just bought the Deeper Chirp+ for £244.
I'd put money on Deeper will bring a new version of the Chirp out soon with an inbuilt camera and once again i'll be rooting down the back of the sofa to help pay for it.

I have a Deeper Pro which is OK.
I have just got an Echo Pro mainly to watch how the fish in my pond react to bait when I am not standing over them but I will take it to a lake at some point. It works really well in my 4ft deep pond but that's very clear water.
