Brilliant rig, I've been using it recently with Nash skin link, Gardner CVR hooks in a 4 and had perfect hook holds

I started using this a lot last year and 80% of my fish have fell to this rig...its fast becoming my go to rig...

I use semi stiff esp tungsten loaded with either a Korda Krank or Gardner mugga hook....hook stop opposite the barb and a bit of putty 1 inch from the hook...nice hook holds and is pretty much tangle free

Ive never tried with pva bags, i sometimes nip a golf ball size pva mesh of pellets / crumbled boilies...

I generally use a size 6 with both krank and muggas.... i haven't used with a stick threaded on so to speak i just nip any pva mesh to the hook...
