Anybody use these? Have done a search and only a couple os posts about them, one potential issue that they ccan freeze in very cold weather (nothing a bit of WD40 wouldnt solve). But the concept intrigues me. Anybody using them and can provide any feedback?

I remember buying these many moons ago when they were first released and liked them until they froze on a particularly cold night, back then I didn't know about WD40 so got shot.
All I can say is they were interesting, fiddly but fun!

I had a set , i also found them too fiddly and went back to solar sensorisers

I had a set, they are gd if you want to fish tight lines only problem is if you do get a drop back or liner you have to then reset them which is a faff.. In a certain situation I could imagine they'd be great but not really an all-rounder. Plus I like to fish semi slack. You can set them to fish slack lines but its a pain to swap them over for light bobbins if you need to.

If your keen on this type on indicator - have a look at the ND t10s
They look like they have rectified the issues that may occur with the MCF ones. Made from carbon aswell so cannot freeze up

It wasn't the indicator itself that froze but the water droplets between it and the stem so I'm guessing this will be the same whatever the material.

I guess anything can freeze in fishing.. I found ice in my line clip was preventing me putting the line in the clip, it was really odd.. it happens, not very often but would rather have a tool that works great 99% of the time and the 1 time out of 100 freezes then so be it, nothing is immune from imperfections.
