Before I start chopping the solar ones I've got, does anyone know where I can buy a length of the night glo material? All I can find is plastic with a coating which won't work for me

Size of what mate,the rings or the sticks.The sticks are 2mm or 3mm and you can cut them to length
Go onto the website and look under the glow in the dark section

It's the washers that may work for me.
What I'm doing is some wooden bobbins to match the reel seats I've made, but with some nite glow sections so I can see them at night. Ideally I'd like a length of 16mm rod I can take slices off at an angle, but I could make it work with the washers if they're 18mm+
I'll ask if they can supply some of the rod or sheet they cut the washers from if not, it'll save me chopping up the solar ones that seem to be sought after

30 seconds of Torch light gives about half an hour of bright light and a couple of hours quite dim, sunlight gives a lot longer. My baiting needle will be glowing enough to see it till dawn, but a bobbin next to the leds you'll struggle to see it after 3-4 hours. I think you can put an isotope inside the solar ones, I've never tried that tho.
I've got a nite glo dye for epoxy coming, it'll probably be easier to just cast it rather than cutting the inlays
