On a whim, I picked up a used set of mk3 Terry hearn distance rods 12ft9 3.5lb, I was in the market for a distance set up and made a half hearted offer that was accepted. Problem is I only have experience of short rods and reels.
I'm looking for some reel suggestions that would pair nicely with these. Distance I'll be fishing is around 120 to 150 yards and my budget is around £500 for 3 reels, more than happy to go second hand. I'm quite drawn to a used set of tournies but I'm looking for some other options.
