Been knocking up some bait based on a recipe
which is essentially
50% binders
30% fishmeal
20% PD Fishmeal
and a little oil + 60ml egg per 100G of base mix.

if i wanted to and a liquid food to this would i just reduce the amount of egg in the mix but say 10% and work from there?

Is this just feedbait? You can reduce the egg considerably if so, unless you want to use a throwing stick. Liquid leak off is a good thing Maybe do a separate small batch with more egg if using them as a hookbait?

less egg and its doesnt roll as well but, wouldnt just be for "feedbait"
the idea being to see if i can come up with something which is cheaper than mainstream baits as i dont mind putting a little bit of time to make some up.

this mix i found doesnt have alot of ingredients to start up, so if it doesnt work out i havent lost alot
(aside from the rolling table caulking gun and a mixer)

some experimentation is needed then.

scaled the mix up to a 6 medium egg size and it comes out ok a little soft but guns out and rolls ok
