Bought a Fox TFT Spomb as I quite like how they fly - very accurate and true, unlike the Spomb™. Only used it on one session and after 7 casts the end where it latches fell off, cast to 30 rod lengths (if that makes a difference)...dead spomb. FFS! Unfortunately I can't find the receipt for it to return it.

Nope. Apart from them not opening occasionally, but have the same problems with spombs.

Yeah, got it through eBay. Just sent them a message, had a look for it, then realized I'd binned it. Doh.
Got an orange Fox one as backup, now I need backup for my backup, which has got my backup 😁

Had the Fox ones when they first come out as liked the easy loading of them but got rid of them as it was doing me in the amount of times they wouldn't open. Went over to the dot spod and they are brilliant but find they don't hold a great deal. Got the Fox one again and just let it slam into the lake (which I don't really like doing) currently using an x spod at the moment and find them really good as easy to load and open up most of the time but seem to find the odd time not open up when fishing in close
Overall I'd like a bigger dot spod but at the moment the x spod is my weapon of choice and is good for sloppy mixes

The Fox one I've got left started playing up, got so fed up with it I jumped on it to kill it, amazingly it fixed the problem, now works a treat.
That's my only concern about the Dot Spod being the amount you can get in it, also, how long will it last? I'm not going back to the old rocket spod type things as they're so hit and miss releasing bait.
Not a fan of really any Fox kit, though I do like how their spomb flies and I can cast it further than a large Spomb if needs be. I do like my Air Bomb for a good spread as much as a pain that I can be at times and doesn't cast at long range that well.

Nah, not in the slightest mate. Just to give an idea of what happened that did it in. Quite possibly it could have folded at 50yds, just so happened to be the case in this instance it was where I was fishing at the time 👍
No bragging here, so many more anglers that cast these things better than I ever could 😉
