Been watching for years and posted very little, but as it's the season of goodwill, I thought I'd disclose my winter carp/gudgeon can't fail to catch bait to you all. And without naming names I've gleaned some very useful info off this site, so thanks to you people. And also watched some nice banter. And if you know who you are, then if you think that's you. Then, that's you....
So, to keep all happy, ideally you want 4 alive grandparents. ( I'm 66, so no ageist comments please ). If not, partners or close, close friends who for whatever reason can no longer chew nuts. I have discovered that the hazelnuts within Fererro Rocher mostly float. They are an ideal bait when popped up for most species, excepting shark of course. There is the option of leaving varying layers of chocolate on them or fishing them bald. I have the care home recycling option covered already but am happy to receive domestic recycling also. I have found that the Korda Krusher can be a little harsh on the nuts. I have put this down to the amount of saliva that the nuts have been exposed to when being cleansed of chocolate.
