With the lack of availability of Berkeley cf600 . Was looking at Daiwa floor it as an alternative. Anyone used this in 15lb? How does it cast ? How well does it sink? How reliable is the knot strength and abrasion resistance ?

The original Floorit is hard work but the super soft version is really well behaved. I've used it in 18lb for the last few years and it casts better than any other fluro I've used.

I found the original stuff alright when I was doing 2 nights a week, but was a real pain if it wasn't used regularly, it just seemed to stiffen up if it sat for a while

Buy some Seaguar, it's probably the best there is, they actually invented and make the stuff. The likes of Korda and Daiwa etc ain't making there own lines that's for sure.

the new version is good used it the past three years no problems.
