I had the ss3 sleep system and fished in all weathers and minus temperatures and it was always warm enough but I sold it a few months ago as it was so soft and had tightened it loads.
Brought the mf 60 it's not fleece lined, not as thick bag and anything below 5 degrees it's cold and also it's 25 mm longer and seems too long for a brolly, not that impressed all though comfy I have now took the bag off and put an old sleeping bag on to make it warm enough anyone else find it too long.

Very heavy as well . That was enough to put me off on its own . And kept hearing differing gripes about it . So never bothered

My own thoughts on the mf60
Weighed a ton more than was stated
Personally prefer quilt to fleece lined bags
Overkill in my opinion
I've since moved it on and got the solar so c tech and seperate bag and wouldn't go back
The solar is that good I brought a 2nd one as a back up when a lad I know was selling his

i thinking of pulling the pin and buying one just sold my ss4 airlite,as long as its comfy ,not to botherd about the weight
as ive got a power porter,and in the summer i can drop my gear off.

I've got a power Porter so didn't drop the mf60!because of the weight I dropped it as the solar is better IMO

just seen it on you tube good review,as i said not botherd about the weight,is it comfy? as i had the ss4 the version with the amarite green frame ,just sold it im after the new 2021 ss4 robert.

I like a hard bed and in my opinion the solar is better, either one will be big upgrade from an airlite though as the mattress on them was flimsy by comparison.
I could get Nash at trade prices hence me having so many over the years but I still chose to pay the rrp of the solar over the Nash, ive also got a levelite that I rate not as high as the solar though.
Id probably go as far as saying the levelite is better than the indulgence im 6'4 and 18 stone so im a big lad and personally have moved past the massive bed and divvy thing as imo its overkill unless your doing campaigns both the solar ad levelite are fine for me with a Snugpak fortis bag
I also have a power porter so its not like weight is an issue for me and that's my feedback having had all of them but your best bet would be too go and look at a few as its a personal thing a lot of the time

thanks for you input robert im a sesssion angler so i do 5 days at at a time mate,so i need the the comfort.plus i only want the standard width ,as i move swims if im not having them,i dont sit and bore them out.lol
