I would appreciate it if you could give me advice about a 12 ft spod rod.
Past few years been using relatively cheap ones mostly fox eos spod rod and it did the job fairly well.
I could not get the accuracy i wanted long range arround 110-120 meters.
Regarding that im pretty satisfied with the rest of my gear, the spod rod was the only thing that was not on par, and i use it probably the most out of everything.
I have limited amount of rods that i can test in person, because the shops here have only certain stuff.
Only daiwa and spomb rods and some rod Hutchinson stuff.
So i usually order to my friends place in London then he brings it over to Serbia.
So im looking for a good Long range spod rod and any feedback would be appreciated.

It may be worth calling the tackle box in Dartford, their own cfx spod rod is highly rated, and they also do others like free spirit, fox etc. Advice from them is generally good

Another good spod rod is the freespirit SPM rod it's what I use and get out to 30wraps (120 yards) with a dot spod with it, very nice rod and mine has been put through it's paces in the last year bud

Bought the CFX few months ago. Really good rod that I enjoy using. Accurate at 120 yds no problem. This one of those bits of kit that just feels right and does the job.
I can't speak for other rods other than what I've used. I've found out that hard way with lining's falling out and snapping line because of it. Currently I've both a Grey's XSM and a Grey's GT II spod rod, both of them suck badly. Both of them are on the planetary weight side of things and get very tiring after putting say 20kg out. They both have single legs near the tip end which I've never liked and are easily bent out of shape...lining pops out. I've always felt double legs are the way to go.
A good, accurate spod rod is your most important tool fishing at range even if you like a good spread. As I've found, the cheaper ones that I've got are bad from my experience and personal opinion.
