At a time when some online shops seem to be struggling with demand England Angling again impress with service. Ordered an item at 16.05 yesterday with free delivery and it arrived at 9am this morning ! Totally recommend these guys.

Probably my favourite online tackle shop. Guy that runs the place is super helpful, products always arrive quickly and free postage on end tackle! Whats not to like.

Usually spot on but I ordered some catty elastics last week and still not arrived. Im guessing as its Royal Snail letter post I might be in for a bit of a wait! EA were the only retailer I could find with the elastics in stock..

Found the same myself, I've waited 8 days for second class to arrive just not good enough royal mail!

Royal Mail estimate 200 million extra items in the network than normal at this time of year, give them a break eh!

I got to agree, I used to be a postie before working as a doorman about 11 years ago this time of year was just crazy, got a stage for a few days before Xmas we got told to put all 2nd class post to one side and get all the rest out. Then we started slowly adding the 2nd class to it didn't do it for long just a few days but was a lot to deliver

exactly and of course not only is it all the extra stuff for Christmas and all the people buying stuff online as the shops were closed
THEN all the Royal mail staff that have staff shortages due to members self isolating when a family member gets infected etc
the real truth is for the most part Royal mail staff do an outstanding job they are essential workers working all thru everything
anyone moaning at this time of year needs to give their head a wobble

Or you could just shop local and support your local tackle shop. This year must've been almost impossible to survive for them. I know in Hampshire a couple of my favourite tackle shops have shut over the last year or so. Use them or lose them as they say.

I don't actually have one apart from go outdoors and they are rubbish apart from bait (they have sticky krill and my ex mrs works there so I get her staff discount on top aswell) tbh I do no of a few smaller tackle shops just miles away and all the ones who had a website actually did pretty well this year.

It's a shame that you don't have a decent local tackle shop. I'm sure they've managed to just about keep afloat with online sales but they must've missed out on people like me wandering in and buying a packet of hooks or a couple of leads and bits whilst the mrs shops in tescos down the road.
Sadly I'm sure eventually it'll all be the big online company's and the days of sniffing pots of pop ups and glugs will be a thing of the past.
Christ I'm sounding like a miserable old sod!

I did visit my local shop in first instance for exactly the reasons you say but unfortunately they did not have the item in stock and none available at supplier to order in.
