Hi, has anyone got or used these rods, Nash NR Toro, if you have what do you think about them? They look like a very good rod for achieving distance, I just saw a Terry Edmunds you tube video, he was using the 13ft 3.5lbtc, watching the action of the rod in slow motion was lovely, any help/info gratefully received, Thanks.

I don't think TE was involved with these, that was a previous range of premium rods.
Lots of promises were made regarding longevity of the range and future support, but the range was dropped after a short time.
The toro are probably decent rods but in that price range they're up against the likes of Harrison and century, rods that hold resale value and with available spares in case of a mishap many years later

Thanks duggs, your right, the rods Terry was putting through its paces (190yrds!!) were the Nash NR range, 9 years ago! I feel a right numpty.

I've had mine about 3 years now with no complaints. Accurate casting be it long or short range, heavy or light lead, plenty of backbone to control the fish and no signs of the rings or lacquer tarnishing. Nicely built and nice finish. I don't know if the price is justifiable but I've had good use out of them thus far and not intending to change them anytime soon.
