Is it even out yet? I was going to get one after selling my compact black label pod but spent a bit more and got jag instead

I have the new QR pod and I like it. The quick release works well and locks up tight.

i was on utube friday night,watching a carper doing a live show
i asked him what he thought,and he said i dont trust any of these plasic pods
He said he would only use the steel ones
i said they weigh a ton though
he said he doesnt trust the plastic one in the situation, that if you get a take and the carp shoots off side ways the pod wouldnt stand up to it
what do you think

The fox compact pod was £150 now £250 with the quick release gone up £100 lot of money for that pod the solar low is around £130 with the easy type line up buzz bars I think the fisherman was right if you get a s/s pod job done for life

I have to agree here my fox black label pod I had wasn't the best quality the buzz bars started twisting and becoming loose, and the pod for about 18 months and had to replace the buzz bars 3 times and I'm very careful with my gear the paint started coming off very quickly, Good pod and even better design just not the best quality

I've had my Black Label pod about 2 or so years, only used the fixed buzz bars. Did have a small issue earlier this year, one of the X Base pieces started to work loose from the centre Boss, wasn't falling out, but I just pulled it out and glued it back in, no biggy. I've had Fox pods for years and to me this is the best, compact and lightweight, I do anchor it down lol.
