A good friend of mine uses a Jetboil
and he was complaining how they take the pee charging so much for the little canisters soooo ! I have found this gadget and on paper it sounds the nuts as its got a venting button so that SHOULD mean it will be possible to easily fully fill them
so I know its a longshot but has anyone got one of these ? LINKY POO

Yeah I use a very similar one....jet boils do get through the fuel and the little cans aren't cheap.
There is plenty of stuff online with regards to the specific dangers of refilling canisters etc as some say it's dangerous others don't seem to worry too much.
I refill my small jet boil cans with propane from a 1lb Coleman bottle which in turn is filled from a large propane bottle I use in the workshop. This requires a different adapter.
Most of my fishing stoves I use a 1lb Coleman bottle with the help of an adapter anyways so I can use two at once with a splitter off the same bottle.
Anyways....I weigh a full gas canister and place the ones to be refilled in the freezer for a bit, they fill easier if the pressure is low.
Attach the filling adapter to the 1lb Coleman bottle and turn upside down screwing it on to the small canister, turn the knob for a few seconds...take it off and weigh it....I refill until the weight is the same as a new one.
Plenty of info on the outdoorsy type websites....but they do work and they are also handy for using up all those 3/4 empty canisters most folk having knocking about...just place the one you want the gas in in the freezer for a bit first.

yes agreed I too have been filling my coleman propane ones for a few years
and I am going to order one of those in my link as I see its got a venting button and it would save having to put the bottles in the freezer as you could vent off the gas to allow more liquid in
