Does anyone know how dovecote at blunham has been fishing recently...also what its like for a bite during winter. Cheers

It has been closed for the best part of 3 months due to an oxygen crash at the back end of the summer. It's opened today I believe, so nothing has been out recently in answer to your question. Not the easiest water about, but has enough in it for it be worth having a go at in the winter.

Fantastic mate, thanks for your reply. Not sure where to dedicate my winter to, I haven't fished for a while so I'd like to spend my time somewhere where I can get some action throughout the cold months if possible

I'd suggest somewhere easier, maybe one of the other lakes on that complex, seem to have a few more fish on them. Or even go manor farm for some bites.

go on the L lake use to fish well in the winter

Is there much left in there these days? I know otters have had a lot of fish from there over the last few years

Used to, much lesser stock in there now. Some good fish but again isn't a winter water for a bite or 2. Catchable if you put work in same as dovecote.
