Has anyone had any success using this had a whiff of it in the tackle shop and seems completely different to the other goos not that I've tried the others

The no name has something in it used by match anglers years ago to catch roach so I've been told anyway,I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.
Don't use any of them myself each to there own though.
