I got this mate very good but if kit, I was out in mine 2 night ago. Was warm the cold didn't get to me at all. Definitely would recommend it

got the Prologic bib and brace recently. won't go back to trousers in the winter now.
have fallen asleep twice on top of the sleeping bag in that bib and brace and my snugpak.

Ive got the Trakker elements Bib and brace / Jacket combi, a little bit extra but very warm!

Not waterproof - pal of mine had this and got soaked through wearing it. Some of the stitching unravelled as well. Total crap. Most Trakker clothing is quite nice, but you only need look at the hydrostatic ratings and you'll soon realise nothing they sell is going to keep you dry. The ESP 25k jacket and trousers/bnb is what you want. I've been out in the boat all day pike fishing in torrential rain, not a drop got through and I was warm as well. Easily the best fishing branded outer clothing you can buy.

Has to disagree mate I have this 2 piece suit and was in some very savage weather for 3 days and I was dry as anything not a bit got through and no problems with the seems, I didn't take it off the whole time I was there. Also the Trakker xp jacket is also 100% waterproof I sue that thought the warmer months and had it for about 2 years not a drop has ever got through that either

Good for you - so you stood out in the rain for 72 hours did you
My mate was soaked through after just a couple of hours standing in the rain and being battered by spray as he motored through waves, yes, standing out in the rain as he was in a boat pike fishing - this was about 3 weeks ago, when it pissed it down non stop on a Saturday. The Trakker clobber is 5,000 rated, so that's no where near enough to keep you dry on a proper wet day. Fine if you're under a shelter and nipping out to deal with a fish or bait up, re-cast, etc. They're water resistant, definitely NOT waterproof I can assure you - I watched him wring out his fleece he had on underneath the jacket when we got back to the jetty! Utter crap in my opinion, as is most clothing from fishing retailers. I was wearing an ESP 25k jacket and bib n brace - and WAS dry underneath.

No not solid for 72hrs but was out stalker for for at least 6 hours solid in the rain, I was dry so that's all that matters. Like I said the trakker xp is 100% waterproof and is 10,000 rated not 5000 like you seem to think and as for the 2 piece suit Mine keeps me dry and wasn't wet at all so I'm happy with it 😂
I do admit tho most fishing gear ain't upto the task, I like my decent clothing and spend a lot on it (not for fishing) and it always seems to be a lot more better quality

this conversation made me think of this day. St Lawrence river Canada. 10 hours in the pouring rain. couldn't use a shelter and had to be right on the rods. waterproofs I swear by. Goretex by Cabelas. not silly money. the main thing is
just have the outer shell, and use it as little as possible.

FACT In the UK manufacturers are allowed to claim a fabric is waterproof if the HH is 1500
trouble is the HIGHER the HH the less the breathability !!
so at 5000 hh its plenty for wind driven rain and the pressure points like belts etc

End of April. Amazing weather. in ONE day you could go from sun cream to hail and back again.
That particular swim was much sought after. being near to the ST Lawrence River manor house. known as the 'garden swim'. some were on a nearby golf course. two were on an island. and 3 were on a platform in the river.
As I was with my wife who will fish but would never be called an angler. when oor turn came for platforms, all day, no toilet, etc. just ****ty walkie-talkies. we passed and were happy to not fish.
If someone wanted to swap, and they did sometimes, for productivity, then we could, etc.
On this particular day, we had not fished for 48 hours. wife went on a shopping trip. and I was suffering from gout. the blokes that drew the garden swim, gifted it to us and they did the platform, as they didn't give a toss. nice guys.
the owner and his wife and any anglers that had radioed in and given up were sitting in a garage with the door open
having a social behind me. So there was no way I was quitting.
just before we lost light I was rewarded with the biggest group fish of the week. (not that fish) the owner bless him. said you ****ing deserve that for standing out in that all day.
