Was in fishing shop today
Ctx 12ft 2.75 / 3.00 / 3.25 and Free spirit 2.75 / 3.25
What happened to those blanks?
Found all of them stiff, as i remember from a few years ago the felt alot softer or is it between my ears? (can't say my Sonik Vader X 12ft 3.00 cork felt stiffer)
Can't imagine that you have a nice fish playing with these one
XS was a different story parabolic and plenty of power

I purchased some e class gold roughly this time last year...when i was in the tackle shop by sheer luck the free spirit rep was there..... i had a nice little chat with him and he told me they're were changing the blank for the e class later on in 2020 for a lesser quality blank which would be slightly cheaper to purchase,,,,,this may answer your question...

Too bad because they used to be nice rods under £ 200 but now they don't seem worth it anymore
think I will buy 3x X.s 3.25 Blanks and have them finished by a rod builder in Belgium
