I've got to ask as I drive by this lake everyday on way to/home from work.
To the right in the fields on A5 as you come out of Hockliffe towards turn for Heath and Reach.
Does anyone know what's in it? and who controls any fishing?

I drove down there it must be 20years ago . Talked to a bloke at the entrance who made it clear at the time it was private , and he did not want me there . Not sure what the situation is now , but iv not herd of anyone fishing it . Nice lake though 😉😉

No , Jones pit is a half a mile along the A5 , you can only see it through the gap on the steep hill through the gap by the waterworks , nice looking lake for sure .

It does look a nice lake and I know the gate house changed hands fairly recently and has been converted to two cottages so I might try and ask there to start with.
Suspect I might get the same response you had but worth a try!
