North wales outside bangor near caernarfon there is a caravan park Called GlanGwna. They have a fishing lake onsite and fishery off site. The one off site is a specimen lake its near a Mini roundabout near Pentir theres a place called tearooms next to it in the road. The lake is in the small tree like forestry! Im edging to find out if anuone has ever fished there and would possibly give me any information

There is a small car park by the entrance then you have a rough walk to the lake. There are no pegs as such but plenty of places to fish. I used to work with a fell who used to fish there and he said his biggest was just over 30lb and averaged 15lb he said it was a hard water as the fish are un pressured and wild . At the car park there is a notice with a phone number for you to ring . Go on Google maps it shows it clear as a bell. The camp site is further down towards Llanberis .

I live in llanberis mate and have fished here 3 times i just cannot get a Bite. Its a lovely peacefull lake but i started question myself because no one i know have fished there. Would you know of any Tips for there. Its quite weedy so i was using pop ups in a pva bag and sonetimes straight pop up on a spomb of crushed boilies and pelets corn. Tried different methods always teied locating the fish but litreally cant locate them its a very black dark water

Its a different place they have worked hard there. They have changed everything its worth a go. One lake is now a cat only and the old carp lake has been improved 100%
