Hi looking for feedback on some new rods, currently have 3lb tc longbows but I find them a bit soft, but they are great for playing fish. So looking for something with a bit more power but all round performsnce. The rods I'm considering are:

Century ADV-1

Cotswold R1

Greys Aircurve

Greys Prodigy Apex 50 (save some coins)

Daiwa Infinity X45 (mate has these and seem nice)

All will be in 3.25 tc

Any other suggestions welcome.

Same question everyday pal, you will get at least 20 different answers possibly more , what one person likes another hates i would,nt touch a freespirit or century rod others love them .Get into a shop and feel a few but you still dont know until you use them if you like them.

Yep, you really dont know till you use them. Why wouldn't you touch century rods?

Shimano TX2 intensity and save some money

Using Torrix 3.25lb 12 footers and love them. As already mentioned though what suits one will not suit another. All personal taste.

I build on harrison blanks , I have built on century blanks had too many fail for differing reasons , snapped at spigots , differing actions on same tc blanks etc, Harrisons havs been consistant in quality and performance throughout.

People have said on here that the aircurve in 3.25 is the best all round rod out there
