Trakker tempest brolly 100t tension strap?what is the purpose of the tension strap?
I'm not sure why it's needed?
I've put the brolly ☔ up and not required it ❓
Years ago I had an Aqua Bivvy and I needed the tension strap to get it up and then I'd remove it!
So I'm not sure what's the point of it ❓

i dont bother with it either mate.
the only reason I might be if I intended on using the zip on infill later on. in that case I might want it exactly the
correct height so that it fits.

Yup, I suspected as much.
On my old Aqua I needed it as it was like wrestling with an octopus.
On the trakker 100T I've not needed it even with my zip on front.
Its the best single man brolly I've ever owned.

If your using a groundsheet you don't need it but if your not using the groundsheet it helps with putting on the infill panel mate

Yes the v2 brolly groundsheet does fit the 100t, the window is annoying and find it a struggle to actually keep it on, shame Trakker don't do a zip in one
You guys who own the Trakker 100t, is there plenty of room left with a wide bedchair inside?

Ian. I have an indulgence wideboy bed in my 100t regularly and its fine. Not loads of room at the front
You would struggle with a chair. But i get all my kit in and under for a night or two.
