Just checking the website of Team Outdoors (Netherlands) if I could get a nice Black Friday deal.
First I see is a Tempest Brolly 100 (former V2) 2021 model with mesh vents in the back.
231 euro (pre-order) Nice!!!
But then I see something that looks like the old Utility Fronts.

A "social utility front"
But if I see the pictures, is it an extension that also acts as a skull cap?
Or does it combine with a normal scull cap?
Very tempting to buy one, with this Blank Friday deal it is great value for money.

Yes looks good that 👍🏻and looks like it gets round the problem of using a utility front and using a skull cap at the same time by combining them, I like that you cam open up the sides too very handy 😎

Just looked at the 100t version it says pre order on it aswell so hopefully we get one over here it looks very good and definitely get one for when my daughter comes with me

Looking at the pics it fits in place of the normal skull cap using the same velcro points around the rear 3 legs, & then pegs down at the front two legs pegging point (like the old utility front did but the old front clipped over the front legs & a velcro strap behind the block on to the rear centre leg).) Looks like it has the poles built in as well which push into the front arms like the skull cap does.
That looks a good idea TBH if you occasionally need a two man bivvy. Not sure on the "Social" side of things at the moment with the pandemic ...

It is coming out over here I messaged Trakker on Facebook this morning asking if this was going to be brought out over here and this is the reply I got

Most likely lol I don't mind I'll buy the Trakker one, cyprinus seem to have gone down hill recently with there quality and customer service

I already have a Cypry utility front which for the money is bang on.Only niggle I have is the rear pegging points are a bit high even on lowest setting..might be a job for AA some time? That social cap is the best of both worlds..open sides and front but can be fully shut if needed. Fingers crossed the QC issues at Cyrpy are only a glitch

The Brolly 100 Advanced is the same size as the Brolly 100 (aka V2) so it wil fit, I guess.
Because of the different materials there will be a color difference, but is that a problem?
Maybe Trakker will bring out social caps voor all the Advanced models in 2021.
