Any reviews on the Aku pilgrim boots. Fed up with cheap walking boots splitting after 6 months and these look a lot more robust

Got two pairs myself. One pair are second hand barely worn ex forces issue, the other pair brand new that are ever so slightly different, though they're both functionality the same. Both the low version.

Top boots mate. Very comfortable which feel like slippers. What you have to be careful with them is to not let them wear down to the mid sole. If you do go down to the mid sole, you best bin them as they can't be repaired, much like any boot that's the same.

I highly recommend them.

Spot on to be fair. I'm in between sizes so I plumped for the size large.

You getting new or grade 1 ex military?

Think I'll go new due to the wear issue. Never know what your getting online part worn

I should mention, the sole is a softish Vibram sole which is really grippy and not a total slip hazard like some Vibram soles can be.

I should also say that they're a nice lightish weight boot for a military boot which is a big bonus. Can walk miles without feeling like you've got bricks for boots. I'm sure you'll like them ☺️

More of a summer boot, but seemed well made, I didn't like that they didn't have lace locks though.
