I've just respooled with some hydro flo 0.28 to try and get a few more metres on my cast.
In hungary most waters are big, shallow, featureless and silty. There's a few fallen trees in the margins of my local waters but that's really all there is is for snaggs.
Does anyone else have experience with this line?
Have I made a bad choice going for smaller diameter for those extra few meters?
FYI rods are scope 3.5tc and I'll be using a gardner shock leader.

I like hydro Flo. I've used it on my chub and barbel reels for years. I don't think you will have any issues with it, but I do think the .28 is mismatched to your 3.5lb rods perhaps.
