I've a 12v electric carp power porter just wondering if you have one and do any kind of maintenance on them to keep it in top condition as it gets used and like most fishing gear abused.

Mine is about 10'years old.

There are a few things that Ive always done.

I have a nash barrow cover that stretches over the whole thing
So it protects the electrics in downpours.

My version also has short alloy inner handles. One with the contoller on so I remove them. Stick them in the bivvy and tuck the hanging connection away. Also remove the battery and put it under the bed chair.

Also charge the battery after use. And store it indoors.

Only pumped the wheel up,once in all that time. Used wd40'when the Tri wheels started squeaking a few years back. And thats worked so far.
