Got my hands on one of the original tins of Invisitec in 15lb.
I usually use Black or CM90, thought about using the Invisitec but seen a lot of mixed reviews in this - worth using or not?

I tried it , as all the pictures made it look grey but when it arrived it's almost lilac
Some people I fish alongside swear by it
So I gave it to them 😂

I hated invisitec after using tech black. I tried invisitec on 2 separate occasions over the last year. Both ended with horrible line twist and crack offs. Never again.
Trying Cm90 now as I can't find tech black.

I have been using invisitec in 12lb for several seasons and not had any significant line twist. Casts well and excellent abrasion and knot strength. It does not sink quite as well as the black but not much in it. Both techniums are excellent lines imo.

I will happily use invistec or black - they seem to perform in the same manner to me.

Just taken it off my spools I tried it as got it cheap.
Not a bad line really but found it crap for feeling the lead down, sank ok but not amazing, and yes surprisingly its purple on the lines 💜 which I didnt like. I did have a couple of pike go for it as well... not for me.
Pb control in 28lb now after liking 24lb but not quite tough enough for the grav pit. Hoping this will be perfect for a while. I did find I had to cut off the last few meters each time with pb control. However I want a clear tinted line.

I tried it earlier this year after being very happy with normal Technium but I moved on to a gin clear water & witnessed fish spook away from the line in the water because it stood out like a sore thumb. Bought the Invisitec & used it for one session before stripping it off & going back to the normal stuff. It was terrible! Twisted up like crazy & if came in contact with anything - even soft weed - in the lake, it would be rougher than a Badger's backside!
