As you know I'm a sucker for a new line.
Has anyone tried prologic density?
I want a fast sinking mono without the wavyness of fluro.
Cm90 ticks all the boxes fof me except the solid green colour ..
Pb control was very gd in 0.35 24lb but not quite up to the mustard back.on the snaggy lake.. I could try 28lb 0.37 but worried more wavyness may appear but this could be the best choice..
Currently using shimano invisitec basically bc I got it for 7quid.. its decent but I don't like the fact that its purple on the spools and its rubbish for feeling the lead down!
I want a decent line for feeling lead down, clear or green tint line, supple and sinks well. Oh an gd on abrasion.. im actually not overly worried about waviness but it bugs me when knots pig tail, which I found with on the gardner hydro tuff.
Lines I've tried and didn't like, korda touchdown, any gardner.
I like synchro, cm90 and pb control but there are things I would improve on all.
Avid outline camo?

Did you have a look at ashima gangster strong clear?
I've been using it for a couples of years now, and it's a very good line. Excellent abrasion resistance, sinks well, low stretch, etc

When I do have to use mono it's the Avid camo in 18lb. Probably the best mono I've used for feeling down the lead( I always use braid) , really good line lay, casts well and has that green/ black speckled finish your after.

Yeah I really struggle to find a decent mono that sinks well, I've gone back to fluoro but realised just how wirery it is. The best mono I used last season was GLT pro clear. It's quite hard to get hold of but really did behave well and sink well. I might try the ridgemonkey fluoro coated stuff next, I've heard that's a good happy medium.

I have been thinking of trying fluoro again, my mate is using berkley cf600 have you tried that? Looks really supple, he is happy with it. But then he is a delkim fan so I don't overly trust his opinion

Yes I have used it and absolutely loved it! It's really user friendly but I found its abrasion is terrible! I had it cut on me loads of times and on lakes that aren't even snaggy. Gutted as it's a fantastic “fishing “ fluoro but can't trust it anymore.

It sinks very well mate, it's the closest mono I've found to sinking braid and I've tried quite a few

I've gone with the pb control in 28lb for now. This avid camo is next on my list to try lol
