Ive done a search lads and found a few comments/reviews from a while ago, has anyone got any pros or cons, ideally a long term regular user of these please! Are these gonna be too stiff for the uk or are they quite forgiving? Im looking to buy these asap so any advice is really appreciated.....ps they are the black edition im looking at

I've got a set of 3 1/4 and just bought the 3.5 both are fairly soft when playing fish but still got enough balls to put bags out at distance, if you can get to the shop go and have a feel of them.

i have the the 13 foot continentals and they are a easy to use long range rod. having spoken to gary peet a lot about them he wanted to design a rod that would be able to cast 140 yards in all conditions.
they are surprisingly good to play fish on. I would say they are not a out and out casting rod. I am not a massive caster but I have cast a 4oz lead with a tapered line 180 yards that's just a lead no bait.
I have caught a few fish on them and they don't feel so stiff that you feel your going to pull the hook. the best thing to do is call or email and tacklebox and gary will go through them with you, you might be better off getting the 3.5lb stepped up.
I know the stepped up is similar to the freespirit xsive in action and the continental is similar to the bruce ashbey invader
