going to oxlease mid november, first time to linear

what tactics are good for oxlease this time of year and any recommendations in general for the site?

We have the lakes booked for a social so don't have to worry about that, wouldn't be going otherwise

I'd use very little bait, obscene amounts get pummeled in there every days of the year. Singles, bags or zigs depending on the weather

Thats right ,i was there the other week ,people spoding loads of bait out ,when they left next person loads of spoding again and so on and so on

Im sure it will be great as you have it booked, but i hated linear when i went, i have no doubt about the standard of fishing available, but as said below, its like whacky races. I set up in one of the free swims availabel when i got there, and could see a lot
Of fish bang in the middle of the lake. No chance of getting onto them though, if someone started packing up, by the time id reeled the three rods in, someone had turned up behind them. Like musical chairs there. Not my kind of place at all.
How many you got on the lake?

Solid bags and zigs cast at showing fish. Leave the spod rod at home!

Maggots in the bags, there is a rule of 4 pints a day. Agree with the leaving the spod at home.
