Looking at getting a new barrow the Avid transit extreme and was wondering if anyone has or has had this barrow and what it's like?

Or if anyone has any other barrow recommendations

I got one back in July. I love mine, think its a great bit of kit. The sides are not too great though i must admit. I assume youve seen the youtube vid but the reason they edited him whilst changing the sides to a wide load is it can be a bit of a ballache moving the slide mechanism. The thumb screws to secure the handles and wheel have rubber on the end of the thread but this didnt stay on too long as i overtightened them and took 90% the rubber off, i can see over time this will wear and will end up being metal on metal, not an issue in my opinion but thought id better mention it.
The zipped side bags to allow access are great, strong and sturdy zips too. The removable bag is an excellent feature and secures well to the barrow. Can take all my kit with ease for a 48hr session (i dont often fish longer than that).

I got the old transit x which I highly rate.
But I doubt you'll find one now

I recently bought the Fox explorer Deluxe. Very pleased with it. Extendable front shelf and front upright. No sides but that's what bedchair legs are for Comes with under barrow bag with side entry and can easily be removed, plus 2 mesh panniers either side of wheel. Also includes 2 straps and a waterproof cover. Easy to pack down and easy to manouvere. Very happy with my purchase

I don't suppose anyone has any experience with the Avid barrow cover? Thanks.
