Currently have a tempest brolly for my short session fishing which I love for the ease of erection. Is there anything similar on the market but a little smaller and lighter ? Like a 55 inch size? Only alternative I can see is a brolly of some description? But ideally I would like the ribs on the outside.
Or am I just wishful thinking? Every manufacturer seems to go bigger at the moment. Surely there is a market for smaller?

I'd love a slightly smaller version but guess the market isn't big enough which is a shame.

Wishful thinking I'd say, would love one too myself a smaller footprint. Found the aqua atom plus to be about the perfect size shelter, just a shame about the terrible build quality.

Not a bad size just not sure it would stand up to any sort of wind? Looks a little un stable to me.

Fox easy shelter is really small, fits over a Trakker RLX standard but quite snugly, little bit of room at the front - about 1 foot at most, for big winds, it is surprisingly stable and very flexible.

The newer Easy Shelter+ looks a bit bigger and better size than the original Easy Shelter I have, gotta be worth a look.

I have the Easy Shelter Plus and have done around 40 nights under it... Quick up and down (ignore anyone who says it's complicated, it is not) lightweight at 3.8kg with pegs (could go lighter if titanium or camping pegs.) As has been said they are surprisingly stable in a wind and have a bit of flex so good to stand up to it... Enough space for my bed, small rucksack, cool bag, unhooking mat, bait bucket, feet, and still space to brew and cook... Big they are not but it depends what you want it for... Almost all my fishing is 18-24hr and I reckon I'll even do the winter with it. Not fashionable to use a pop up tent but everyone who's seen mine has been impressed. For mobile, short session angling, they're damn good.
