Hi all, I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these really just for my annual French trip as like the space and ventilation but I'd also be using it for the odd longer session in the UK with my son, question is for those of you that may have one or at least seen one in the flesh is it going to struggle in windy conditions and are they any good in the colder months as I imagine you lose quite a bit of heat through the roof vents.

I almost got on of these earlier on in the year after seeing someone with one on my syndicate, I was impressed with the room and vents all round, the height was great too. The lad who had it said it was rock solid in the wind, he has only once used the guy ropes in a big storm apparently. I was well impressed with it and if I am honest it took me a littbe by suprise as I had never heard of them until I saw his. Ended up buying an M3 from the classifieds but still toying with getting one, as for heat loss sorry can't help I didnt ask him.

Best bit of kit i've bought in a long while . It really does go up and pack down as quickly as they say. I was a bit concerned originally about how stable they would be but i needn't have been they are rock solid when you put them up right. I've had mine over a year now and haven't had a single issue with it. I've used it for several foreign trips and it hasnt missed a beat. Haven't used it in the depths of winter but don't see as it would be a problem as its well ventilated so shouldn't have to worry about condensation. Mine's got the original groundsheet which is a bit thin , but i understand they've replaced that with a heavier version. Bag's good as well and goes back in easily. Get two bed chairs in easy front to back and still have room.

I bought one the other week but haven't tried it yet as got it for France next weekend but look great for a social area

Used the Solar SP for 8 days and WOW brilliant bit of kit, so fast to put up probably under a minute, then put on the skull cap piece again a doddle to fit and groundsheet just lay and velcro in, material is good quality, zips are well made and the first night me and a mate slept under it in car park before getting on the complex got two bed chairs in it no problem plenty of space so for me its a great buy

Cheers chaps I've actually ordered the spider in the end with wrap as it probably suits my UK fishing better and 360 for both was too good to resist lol, but may still buy the quick up for France lol
